Terms & Conditions

    1. Service Overview

Electronics Labs Australia provides repair services for car keys, remotes, and electronic devices. By leaving an item with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.

    1. Assessment and Repair Attempts

We take all reasonable steps to diagnose and repair your device. However, some items cannot be repaired despite our best efforts due to age, damage, corrosion, or component failure.

If we are unable to repair your item, there is no charge for the attempted repair.

    1. Customer Responsibility

Customers must provide accurate information about the device, including any previous repairs, faults, or damage. We are not responsible for issues arising from undisclosed conditions.

    1. Liability and Data

While every care is taken, Electronics Labs Australia is not liable for:

    • Pre‑existing faults or damage
    • Loss of data stored on devices
    • Issues arising from third‑party modifications or tampering

Repairs may void manufacturer warranties.

    1. Parts and Warranty

Any parts supplied during a repair are covered by a limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. Warranty does not cover physical damage, water damage, or misuse after collection.

    1. Payment Terms

Payment is required upon completion of the repair. No item will be released until payment is made in full.

    1. Uncollected or Abandoned Items

Items not collected within three (3) months of notification will be considered abandoned.
Abandoned items may be disposed of or recycled at our discretion, with no compensation payable.

    1. Mail‑In Repairs

For postal repairs, customers are responsible for packaging and shipping their items safely. Return shipping costs are included and paid for by Electronics Labs Australia.

    1. Limitation of Guarantee

We guarantee the specific repair work performed, but we cannot guarantee the overall lifespan of an ageing or damaged device.

    1. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting or leaving an item with Electronics Labs Australia, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
