What is the Process?
- Contact me to organise a pick-up of your faulty remote or call to confirm a drop-off to my location.
- Once received, I will do an initial inspection and determine what needs to be done and if it is repairable.
- After disassembling the key fob, cleaning the circuit board and removing the old microswitches, I will then check other components / battery holder / etc.
- I will install the new microswitches onto the small circuit board and re-assemble the key fob.
- In some cases, the electronic circuit board will be transferred to a new case and/or new rubber buttons installed and a new metal blade cut if needed.
- A new battery is installed and the key fob will be returned to you.
- The keyfob is then tested again to ensure it is transmitting a radio signal when the buttons are pressed.
