What is the Process?
- Contact me to confirm a drop-off to my Shop in Sutton Street.
- Once received, I will do an initial inspection and determine what needs to be done and if it is repairable.
- After disassembling the key/remote, cleaning the circuit board and removing any damaged microswitches, I will then check other components / battery holder / etc.
- If needed, I will install new microswitches onto the small circuit board and re-assemble the key/remote.
- In some cases, the electronic circuit board will be transferred over to a new case and/or new rubber buttons installed and a new metal blade cut if needed.
- A new battery is installed and the key/remote will be returned to you.
- Finally, together we can test the key/remote to make sure it is working correctly on your vehicle.
